Bullied Student Is Transferred To A Deep Forest In Another World Fruit of Evolution

Everybody wants to be That guy, but nobody wants to be That guy. Do you get what I mean? Yeah, well, me neither. Alright, so what we have here is a Harem fantasy anime where a Bullied Student Is Transferred To A Deep Forest In Another World. Some people are a bit bolder in the sense that they just casually call it trash. To be honest, it isn’t really trashy, it’s rather generic and the fanservice is definitely the focal point, but I’d say we have a good premise going on here.

As for what that is? Continue reading to find out

So there is a high school student named Seiichi Hiiragi.  Fat. Ugly. And Short.

Bullied Student Is Transferred To A Deep Forest In Another World Seiichi

He’s the kind of guy who gets handed the shorthand of the stick. Nobody wants to be his friend, girls never laugh with him, they laugh at him, and the Bullies have a field day whenever he’s around. Yup, if you go to the same school and you see this guy for the first time, you’ll either be disgusted or feel pity.  That just goes to paint the unfairness of this world. Yeah, I’m definitely going off the deep end, and this story itself isn’t really deep.

Although he may not look like he’s worth anything and the bullies definitely eat him for lunch, our good protag Seiichi here is always trying to help other people regardless of the bullying, and that’s why, even if someone doesn’t want to be involved with him, they don’t hate him. In fact, it’s he himself who’d rather everyone kept away from him as he always faces the bullies all alone, he even pushes his childhood friends away because in his opinion that is what’s best for them! School life isn’t easy for him and to make matters worse, his parents have already passed away.  The poor boy simply couldn’t handle the loss of his parents, he couldn’t fully accept it, he needed a cop-out, an escape from the sheer dexterity of sadness and loneliness he was feeling.

And so, he ate, he ate, and he ate some more. He didn’t go outside, he didn’t even have the energy to go outside, and the only way he could temporarily escape from his suffering was by eating fast food. You know, the stuff that is delivered straight to your house. Now, things are normal for the most part. The definition of normal does vary though.

But then one day, his entire class is supposedly about to be summoned to another world. They all have to team up in pairs, and one by one, his classmates keep getting transported, but nobody wants to pair with him, not just because of his appearance, but also because of his unusually low stats. In the end, while everyone gets ready to start their Hero’s journey in some kingdom in the other world, Seiichi is offered a different beginning and one that is rooted in isolation.

Just like that, he finds himself all alone in the middle of a comically big forest.

Seiichi

There is no civilization whatsoever.

To live he has to survive, and for the sake of surviving, he has to go back to the roots, he has to learn how to live in the wild. He starts off by heisting a certain fruit from a few monkeys, when he eats it, he experiences a change within his body and a voice more or less explains this change.

As it turns out, the fruit is, “The Fruit of Evolution,” there are plenty of these things, and as the name implies, they set into motion some kind of Evolution.

Seiichi continues his days of survival, but as he continues to consume, he realizes that his physical appearance is also evolving, before he knows it, he’s no longer the same fat, ugly, and short guy.

Seiichi eats "The Fruit of Evolution"

A few months pass and even though he had some major run-ins with monkeys before, a super rare Gorilla shows up and starts giving off Boss vibes.

Seiichi Meets a Gorilla named Saria

Seiichi has grown some balls, he is not scared, and this chivalry gets through to the Gorilla who then turns out to be a female. Here, a wholesome relationship between a human and a gorilla begins.

From this point onward, Seiichi practically has a housewife, she lives with him, takes care of him, washes his clothes, makes food for him, and helps him understand the ways of this World.

It certainly didn’t take long before he warmed up to her, her name is Saria by the way.

Bullied Student Is Transferred To A Deep Forest In Another World Saria and Seiichi

Now, if she is this good of a wife as a gorilla, she’d be the perfect bride if she was a woman.  Or so he thinks.  Every so often, he tries to escape, but no one can escape the shadow of love.

Anyways, she wasn’t the only Boss-tier enemy in the forest. Before long, Seiichi comes across a cave, there he finds an Undead Knight. The Knight is surprised that a human managed to find him all the way in these boonies, but he’s not a very pleasant host. The Knight tries to kill Seiichi, another second and Seiichi might’ve experienced Game Over, but the Gorilla steps in and takes the Sword for him. This moment right here is when Seiichi realizes the true extent of Saria’s love for him.

She is losing her life, but before she passes on, the two let out their love for each other.  He’s enraged, just brimming with anger. He somehow manages to defeat the Dark Knight, and guess what, when Seiichi proceeds to kiss the Gorilla’s soul, through the fruit of evolution or something, the Saria is revived.  Except, this time, she’s a beautiful, redhead, and also a rather naked woman.  That’s some evolution alright.

Bullied Student Is Transferred To A Deep Forest In Another World Saria turns into a Human Girl

Anyways, while Seiichi is scoring Gorilla girls, his arrogant classmates are stuck doing some boring training regiments, looks like they’ll have to do a lot of those if they want to even begin their journeys as Heroes.

Alright, so following a beautiful moment of silence between Seiichi and Saria, an administrator of this fantasy world shows up to give Seiichi and Saria a little bit of perspective, he goes by the name Mr. Sheep. He gives some insights on the Undead Knight and then financially awards the couple so that they can finally leave this forest after so many months. And my friends, that is basically where our Heroes’ harem-fantasy adventure begins!

Seiichi gets a nosebleed

Though since this is categorized as a Harem anime, how about I give you a little preview of what other kinds of girls will be joining our protagonist in his journey? After Saria, we have a white-haired, busty, woman named Altria Grem, the couple meets her while they are trying to register for a guild, and she becomes their supervisor. You know, show them the ropes.  At one point, he saves her from this black dragon or something, and since she is always insecure because of her cursed magical prowess, Seiichi gets her a ring to subdue the curse.

Altria Grem

Through these tender moments one after the other, she is soon madly in love with him. Lucky for her, Saria is all for polygamy.   Ok, so I guess a normal person may feel a bit weird if they see a Gorilla turn into an actual girl, but how about a Donkey? Well, that’s basically what Lulune is, she used to be a donkey, and I mean literally, but thanks to the Fruit of Evolution, she became this cowboy Donkey girl.

Then there is an assassin girl named Origa Carmelia. She has cat ears and is really small. Seiichi is like an older brother to her, but you know, how it is in harem-fantasy anime… This is still the beginning though because the daughter of the demon king, a legit Valkyrie, and then, of course, Seiichi’s actual childhood friends, both of whom become his fiancés.

The little guy really lucked out by starting in the forest, didn’t he? Otherwise, he would’ve been a part of just another social corporal system, and well, that never worked out for him well in the past.

Alright, so this was the premise, and some of the girls, now the important question. Is this anime worth it? Should you watch it? In my opinion, it is exactly what it tries to be.  It is silly, it is cheesy, and it is fun. Nothing more, nothing less. Nothing serious either. Just one clumsy group of girls centered around one guy.

Now, what do you guys think of this anime? Are you planning on checking it out, or have you already watched it?  Always looking forward to reading and replying to your thoughts!
